Our Branch

KALSAC is based in Kendal in Cumbria on the edge of the Lake District, 15 minutes from the M6 J36, with easy access to the whole Lakes and Western coast of Cumbria & North Lancashire. We are an active club with our own compressor shed (available to visitors), Nitrox blending system and full Trimix decanting setup. A high pressure pump allows us to blend upo to 230 bar, we carry a bank of premixed trimix.

The club has on offer to members a wide range of all scuba kit including drysuits, BCD’s and regs.

was formed in 1973 has recently celebrated 50 years of diving with old and current members meeting to catch up. We have twice monthly club meetings just 1 mile from from the M6 J36 at a private inn with regular talks, presentations

Social

Strong social side to the club with BBQ, Christmas Mulled wine and Mince Pies, Curry, Pizza & Thai nights. Group visits to The Dive Show and Scafell Summit being two extreams

Club Training

The club offers training to all diving grades and a huge selection of SDC’s. WE have twice monthly exclusive access to a 3metre deep pool. Our training extends beyond just diving with boat handling, gas blending and medical AED and O2 skills. Throughout the winter and spring we offer Ocean Diver courses.

Try Diving
For those new to diving we offer year round try dives in our 3m deep well heated pool, just 4 miles from M6 J37, we can then start you on one of our Ocean Diver Courses.

Dive Cumbria

Boasts some of the most varied dive sites in the UK, from the stunning river dives at devils bridge and dunneralae bridge to the crystal depth of Wasdale (68m). Hodge Close Quarry in the centre of the Lakes is one of the most stunning freshwater dive sites in the UK with a 33m depth and tunnels running deep into the Cumbrian fellside.

Dive Global

The club runs trips abroad with recent Egypt and Chuuc Lagoon trips

Experienced Divers are welcome to and join our club, take advantage of our extensive kit hire, cylinder fills, Nitrox and Trimix gases
